// (n.) the desire to care less about things
Trapped in the hollow abyss of her thoughts, she nearly shattered.
Her mind and her thoughts consumed her,
Searching for something, anything, but all she found was a blank wall staring back at her.
The blankness was absolute, not a scratch or mark in sight.
She wondered how she ended up there in the first place.
She was in pain for the longest time.
She longed for a way out, for freedom.
She longed for a way out of her head.
She found comfort in others, but unfortunately they found much more comfort in her.
She felt pressured to prioritise them, and because of that, she never prioritised herself.
She lost herself. She lost everything.
Every emotion but sadness pushed away from her being; leaving her longing for love, light, and laughter in the aching hollowness of her body.
No longer will she allow her demons to control her,
and with every step she took towards the blank wall to write out her story,
came the healing, just like how spring came after winter.
So she found herself in the spring.
In the flowers that brought cooler back into her black and white world.
Colors that she could use to paint her colourful story.
And through the spring she marked the wall with her beautiful art.
She marked the wall until it was no longer blank,
until the lines overlapped each other.
And as the flowers grew, so did she.
With every flower that surrounds her,
growing and blossoming, she grows into something more beautiful.
And in the next winter, she finds herself,
all over again, but this time in a colourful wall.

These artworks below have taken such a long time for me to complete. I am so glad they turned out the way I wanted them to look. I am happy with the end result and am looking forward to completing and sharing with you guys more exciting artwork!
I am so sorry I haven't been active lately. I have been so busy finishing up my AP Studio Art portfolio, which is due tomorrow!!
Check out below some of the recent works i've done. There are some exciting new stuff coming ahead for you!!
I recently worked on a 5-piece collection. This collection is really personal and I am really proud of the outcome.
Dancing is an art performance based on human movement. Some view it as a profession, workout, hobby, and for others, dancing is a lifestyle. I chose the title Faceless to describe my relationship with dancing. Dancing to me is more than a sequence of movements, it is an expression, my expression of how I’m feeling. To me, Dancing is an escape from reality. Faceless shows 5 different dancers seen without their faces and focused on everything else, because that is how I perceive dancing. When you dance, no one looks at who you are, where you come from, how rich you are or what is your lifestyle, we are solely and passionately connected and related by one similar thing; dancing. That is the beauty of dance, no judgements, just dancing, and when we all dance together, we are in total sync, in harmony, because we all share that one common thing. That is what I wanted to bring to this collection, that is the story behind Faceless.
For the fifth piece, the Acrylic on canvas inspired by Chakras. It has a different story. The power of dance is impeccable, but what people forget to realise is the power of couple dances. How and What having a partner to dance with can affect you. The gut of the girl and the lumbar area of the boy's back are both brown because their sacral chakra; the chakra of emotions; is not working, so therefore they feel lost. but as the boy touches the girl around her chest colors start to spark, and basically every where they touch, colors spark, because of how powerful their chemistry is.
Regarding my other acrylic piece, the one with newspaper bits in the background. That piece expresses the modern society we currently live in right now. How people are being told what to believe and are pressured by outside thoughts; such as media, people, and nature.
Block Printing!!!! AKA A new way to have fun!!
For this project I used block printing and block printing ink. It was so fun. So.. what is block printing? Block Printing is the process of carving into a piece of blue fabric like thick block. It is such a procedure to do a piece from block printing. First you have to draw your ideal project, then you grab tracing paper and trace the drawing onto the tracing paper. From there, you put the tracing paper on the block, and transform the sketch from the tracing paper onto the block by either going over it with a pencil or a coin. It is really ideal to use either a HB or a 2B drawing pencil for block printing. Then from there you start carving out the positive space, ( the areas which you do not want the paint to go on, so basically the parts that are not part of the drawing ). It sounds complicating but it really is not.
I really loved Block Printing, it was something new and definitely exciting!
Here is the project i've done, I've done several sketches to try them out before doing my final piece!
So seeing my piece, I carved out the white areas, which I do not want paint to go on. It took a long time, but looking at my pieces right now, it was worth it.
I called it abstract thoughts because as you can see in my Final Piece, you have two women. Pink representing the innocent inside of the girl, and the navy blue one representing how she rubs off on the people whom she meets. She seems really strong and powerful, since the color symbolises stability, the girl seems to be stable with everything, but in reality she is just an innocent girl, since pink symbolises flowers, babies and love, she is actually an innocent soul.
The initial sketch is called Loneliness.
I have been really busy with everything lately, but I was so lucky to have time for my art <3
These are the recent pieces that I have done. Tell me what you think in the comments below!
